I blame Juliet because the nurse turns her back on Juliet and Paris pushes Juliet to marry him. Also friar because he was the one that came up with the plan that she drinks this position and she drinks so everybody can think that shes died so that way she can escape with Romeo.
Its her fault because she only cares about herself. When her dad told her that she was going to end up on the streets with no money she didn't want to end up with no money.She could just end up with no money in the streets and left with Romeo.

I blame Juliet because she agreed to everything. She didn' really had the choice to decide for herself. But she could at least try to do something. Try to work things out and make good decisions. Take things slow and not want to kill herself.

Why because of the familys there like big time enemies and they don't like that because it's not good of them thats why I think they killed themselves. The story of Romeo and Juliet was cool. The person that Blame for both of their deaths is thr friar. The reason why is because he is so not right. Because he went on not elling any of the parents that Romeo and Juliet loved each other and wanted to get married to each other. Their are other people i blame for their deaths too. First the persons death i'm going to talk about is Edgar Allen Poe. Why because he died of rabies that he got from his cat. Also people say he was an alcoholic he just drank and drank. Next he also had anger issues because of his drinking and thats what led to get angery. Last he died at age 40 I guess he was that old.
Next i'm going to talk about his alcohol problem he would always drink. Why because he liked it and led him to get angry for no reason and would also get violent. Next when he was in the hospital he refused to drink alcohol but just water. Also they say that he he was not drunk before he died. Last he then died four days later.
Finally i'm going to talk about how his cat gave him rabies. Next they say that his cat caterina gave him the rabies because there was no vaccines for rabies to put on pets back then. Their are many theories as to why poe died, my first theory was he died of a alcohol poisoning of some kind called,
Hippocambus which happens only when your intoxicated. It makes you see things that arent really their, like an illusion, because
remember when he was in the hospital and reported seeing things on the wall that werent really their. He was also seen in a bar drinking
with someone elses soiled clothes on and to me that seems like behavior of a man that has had a couple beers or two..
Although he didnt have any bites oe scratches on his torso from his cat he still might have had rabies because %15 percent
of the rabies victims said that they dont remember being bitten by the animal but they still got the disease. Yet %24 of these victims could recall an approximate history of animal exposure. So even though their werent any signs their is a srong possibility that Edgar Allen Poe might have had rabies from his cat, which also died after being abandoned by Clemm shortly after Poes death.
But their is also signs that Edgar Allen Poe did not die from alcohol nor Rabies, because they say that Poe could not drink with out becoming sick for weeks and weeks. They say that poe hated drinking and that he was going to quit drinking. So although he showed no signs that he was intoxicated maybe he was mental and had strange things going on that made him see things on the wall. The reason why I chose this aritcle was because it sound more real and understandable.
Also I think this might of happened because he had drinking problems. Also the article I chose was Rabies Death Theory. I beleive he had a cat and I think he had gotten it from his cat.
He had probably didnt know it, but had no symptoms on the side. Not all people get rabies from
bats there are other animals that are effected with this disease too. Peo also had anger problems too which why that comes to me quick he probably had difficulty controling it. Peo could of got vaccinated, but I dont think scientist had figured it out yet back in that time. The other results that I know about their were about twenty four people who were diagnosed with the disease. In the year of 1980 when it happened, which the vaccine wasnt discovered until the year of 1885. These people were in fact exposed to animals, but not all of them were effected by bats what people would say the cause was. So I beleive that he probably just died from rabies too, but didnt know it.

Poe was recently married to his cousin Virginia Clemm. Shelton lived in Richmond, Virginia and Poe set out from there from Balitmore, Maryland. Planning to go to New York City but never reached his destination.
Snodgrass saw Poe at a bar and Poe had a look of "vacant stupidity." He was wearing neither vest nor hie his dingy trousers fit badly, his shirt was crumpled, his cheap hat soiled. Snodgrass thought that Poe had been robbed or cheated of his own. So Snodgrass ordered Poe a room at the tavern. Where Poe would be comfortable and safe. Just until his relatives from Balitmore were notified. When Poe was drunk he would be abusive and ungrateful.
Later on Snodgrass took Poe to Washington Medical College. Poe was given a private room in a section just meant for cases involving drunkenness. Poe's physician was Dr. John J. Moran. All the nurses, physicians, and students thought of Poe as "an object of unusual regard." When Poe reached the hospital he had a tremor of the limbs. What Morgan called "a busy but not violent or active delirium." Poe's face was sweaty and pale. He soon got better. But Poe didn't know when he had left Richmond, all he knew was that he had a wife there. Ocotber 6 Poe began calling out someone's name. It may have been a Balitmore family or his uncle-in-law, Henry Herrings. Poe kept calling out names until Sunday around three in the morning. Then he past away.

Egar Allen Poe may have been killed by rabies. He may have also died of alcohol poisoning. The night Allen Poe died he died in a gutter or he may have died in the hospital. Now here is the story of Egar Allen Poe.

Egar Allen Poe was a man that killed his best-friend and braided him under his own house. Poe toled the police where the bodies was. After that Egar Allen Poe died of rabies from a bat. Then he died in the gutter or in the hospital and, I believe that Poe died in the gutter.

This article was about Edgar Allan Poe about how he died. They think that he died by drinking because a cardiologist who practices a block from Poe's grave says that it is true that he was at a bar at Lombard street in October 1849. He was wearing somebody Else's soiled clothes. But he was not drunk. But then the next day they had to take him to the hospital becuase he was feeling ill and the next day he seemed better but he could not remeber anything about being ill. After he was there for four days at the hospital he became quiet and confused and then died. The docter say that Edgar Allan poe died because of rabies but they have no evidence that a rabid animal had bitten him.

I think that Poe didn't die from rabies. I don't think that he died from alcohol poisoning either. The reason I think that is because there is no real evidence saying that he died from either of those things. Thats what i think about that.
I dont think that he died from rabies because in one of the articles it says that rabies victims have a fear of water but Poe was drinking water. Even though he had some signs of having rabies I dont think thats how he died.
I dont think that he died from alcohol poisoning either. I think it had something to do with alcohol though. I think that because the articles say that he didnt drink anymore only that he used to drink a lot. So i think that overtime the alcohol mest up his brain and killed his brain cells. I'm going to talk about how Edgar Allan Poe better known as Poe. Poe was outside a Balrtimore saloon in an alcoholic stupor on October 3, 1849.He was found drunk under a bridge. Some people took him to the hospital and after four days he had all ready died. He was not really able to drink for some kind of disease he had.
The disease he had was called Hydrophobia. It is like a fear you get of water and it is hard for you to drink because it is painful to swallow. I dont really know the reason of why he was drinking. He also avoided drinking as much as he could but i dont know why this time he was drinking. Also why he had died 4 days later.
When they saw him at the bar he was wearing someone elses clothing. It was army clothing. After getting out of the hospital he seemed okay and days after he had died. probably he was intoxicated with drinking to much and being unconsience. That he didnt really remember much of what had happened.

I think Edgar Allen Poe die from posing from whatever he was drinking. I think this because when i read the article called Poe's final days it said that,"On the former occasions, when Poe had been abusive & ungrateful. Most people get like that when they drink some type of alcohol.
They had found the alcohol in his dresser. So if he had die from rabies they wouldn't have found alcohol in his dresser. When he ws youger he had a drinking problem so that if he had a drinking problem back in the day it is most likely he would start drinking again.

I think Poe died of Rabies.One reason is because he lived in the days that many people were getting it. There was no treatment. At most cases people don't recall getting bit or even any interaction with any animals.When you first get bit your left with a mear scratch.Which wont come to mind that something is wrong. It takes about a year for symptoms to appear or even for people to react to it. You get about the some symptoms that you do when your drunk. So people could have thought he was.But he couldn't have been because just drinking water burned his throat let alone alcohol.He had also tried to keep away from alcohol because of what he went through at a younge age.He also had a cat which most likely bit him.The cat was also found died three months before Poe's death.Also he was probably in ragged old clothing because he was in pain and wanted to be a bit more comfortable in his condition.Nobody saw him in long periods of times because he was probably in bed trying to get better.Tring find out what was wrong with him. How he died I think, when he went to the bar, the cat must have gotten rabies from a smaller animal like a rat or something. Then when he got home the cat must have scatched him or bit him. Becuase in the article it said a scratch can couse a rabies infection. So that could have been how he died, a rabies infections.
In this article they also said that, when they saw that the cat had died of starvation, and had no rabies. But Maybe when the cat starved and died, the rabies died to. So when they checked the cat for rabies and there would be no rabies. So that could be a clue. Did he really die from a rabies infection.
Edgar Allen Poe also could have died from alcohol piosining. But in the article they said he had left the bar, but for some people you don't have to be drunk to get alcohol poisining. But he still couldn't died from it because there would still be some clues to it like throw up of something.
So he could have died two ways. Number one is he could have died from alcohol poisining, and he could have died from a rabbies infection. Now the infection could have killed him pretty easy. But the alcohol poisining could have just hurt him really bad. And if he had alcohol poisining, there should have been throw up everywhere. So those are the two ways.
But for me I still think he died of rabies, because there is a little chance of him dying from alcohol poisining. And that is how I think Edgar Allen Poe died, a rabies infection.

The Theme

Della and Jim sold what they loved the most so they could give each other something for a special day. But at the end they both didn't have what each other's gift was meant for. Jim sold his watch and got Della the combs that she had all ways wanted to get. Della cut her hair and sold it so she could by Jim a fob chain for his watch.

They both didn't care about what would happen. They were both wise enough to sell each others treasures. I think that the theme is "think about others but your self." They both showed each other that they didn't care if they didn't receive a gift back, that they just wanted to give something with love,

Della and Jim are said to be the wised of all human beings. They were willing to do what were to just see each other happy. That's what this story says to me.

The main idea of this story is about a girl named Della. It is Christmas eve and Della is worried that she does not have any money to buy a gift to her husband Jim.So Della gets an idea and she goes out and to go sell her hair. So Della could buy a gift to Jim.Della wnt to buy a chain so it could match his wacth to go with it.But in the other hand Jim does not know that Della sold her hair.

So Jim not knowing that her wife cut her hair and sold it.Jim buys della some expensive combs that della has wanted to brush her beautiful long hair.It's Christimas day and Della is waiting for jim to arrive. These are the main ides of this story because thats all it talks about in the story. and it also talks about how money is nessary to life.

The theme in thi s story, "Gift of the Magi" is about how two people, Della and Jim give up their most valuble things to make the other one happy. They both love each other so much they couldn't live with out the factb of not giving the other one a Christmas present.
Della gave up her long hair by selling it to get money to buy Jim a chain for his most valuble thing that was his grandfathers watch that now belonged to him. Jim had sold the watch to get Della what she always wanted a set of colmbs for her hair. Now that they both had nothing for what they got they weren't sad they where happy of the sacrifice the other one did for them.

Evey one has to sacrifice things to be happy or to make others happy.Della really wants Christmas to be great. She has no money except $1.87 that shes been saving up for months. She really wants to get her husband something really special.The most valuable things they have was Jim's gold watch which was passed on by his father and grandfather. For Della it was her hair. Della had to sacrifice her hair to get her husband something really special.
Della dashed out the front door and went looking for some kinda hair saloon place. She found one she walked in and asked the lady if she would buy her hair. The lady sat her down and took along look at it and said I will give you 20 dollars for it. Della said okay do it quickly.
After that she went in search of that one special gift that stood out from the wrest to them. That day that Jim got home he just stared at her for along time. Della was really scared she thought he wouldn't like her no more because of her hair.
Jim after gave her the present and said it would explain everything. When she opened them it was a set of the combs that she really wanted. He had bought it for her long beautiful hair that was now very short. Then Della with excitement gave him the gift that she had bought him which was a platinum fob watch. He just sat down and smiled. The people at the store told her that they would give her twenty dollars for her hair. She said yeah so they cut off all of her hair. Now she has the money to buy him a present. She wants something that he would like. She looked everywhere. Then she found a chain that he could use for his watch that he has. So she gets him that. Later on that dayJim goes over and she tells him that she cut off her hair to get him that chain for his watch. Now he gives her the present that he got for her. They are brushes that she really wanted and they were expensive so he had to sell his watch to be able to buy those for her. So now he cant use the present that she got for him, and she cant use the present that he got for her.

The main idea of the story is that della is pretty with long hair.really long hair that could almost touch her kness.well there in the month of christmas and della dosnt have that much money.and she really wats to but her husban jim something.shes really poor this year all she has is $1.87.she wanted to buy jim a really nice present that he would really like but she cant because all she has is $1.87.she cant really buy nothing good with that much money.so she was in here lil downtowm one day and saw a sign that said "hair goods of all kind".she runs up in there and cuts her hair for jus $20.00.she goes to every store to look for that perfect gift for jim.she sees a chain just for jim it was just like him.well she buys it.shes hoping that he would like her new hair and hes new watch she just bought.well she didnt expect that the chain that she got for jim was hes but he sold it to get her a present.but the present that he got for her had to do with her long hair.and now that she dosnt have long hair she cant put those on her.so she cutt her hair for nothing.

Well i think that the main idea is that Della and Jim, both had to sacrafice somthing that they both not only loved but they also value so much and this was all just because they wanted to get each other something for Christmas and so they did what they had to do and they got each other a gift and then they when Della opened her present she was so happy she was like a little kid because she got the thing that she longed for in a long time and well before all that she had saved up at least $1.89 and she was a little sad because she wanted to buy Jim something nice butt she couldn't so she went to this one place and outside of it said that you can sell your hair.
So she did and she got $20 for it and then she went to a different store and she bought a chain for Jim's watch and that costd about $21 in total so when she got home she hurried to her room so she can curl her hair and then she went down stairs to go eat dinner and as so as Jim saw her she kind of freaked out but well she told him that her hair would grow back like really fast so she could use her new combs and then that's when Jim told her that he had to sell his most valued watch for her and you know i think that's sweet because they both gave something up that they value all because they love each other.

The theme of this story was, 'It's the thought that counts.' I think this is the theme because the characters go through a lot to make the other happy. Then they realize that the other did the same.
In the story Jim was only making $20 a week. Della his wife, knew they wouldn't have the Christmas she wanted. Della had been saving all she could to buy Jim a Christmas present. But when it gets close to Christamas she had only saved a dollar and eighty seven cents.
Della then becomes sad because she would not afford anything for Jim. Jim was sad beacuse he had no money to buy anything for Della. Della knew that she would not get enough money in a day. So she went out to see what she could afford with a dollar and eighty seven cents. As Della was leaving her home she see's a flyer that says,"Mme.Sofronie. Hair of all kinds." Della ran up the stairs, and asked the lady if she would buy her hair. Even thought she knew she would look like a boy without her hair, Della thought about how happy JIm would be with is present.
Della did not care how she would look, she just wanted Jim to be happy. Della went out and bought Jim a chain for his watch. When she got home Della got ready for when Jim arrived. Della explained to Jim why she cut her hair and began to cry. Jimtolde her he loved her no matter what.
Della opened the gift that Jim had got for her. it was the most beautiful set of combs. Now she had nothing to comb, since she had sold her hir to buy his gift. Della was excited to give Jim his gift. She thought it would look good with his watch. Jim was upset because he had sold the watch to buy Della's gift. Even thought they both lost somthing valuable, they were happy because they got eachother waht they wanted.
The theme was, 'It's the thought that counts,' because they both thought about making eachother happy, when they were giving up their most valuable posentions.

On the story that I read, my main Idea was "selling a important thins or belongings to buy a good present to a important person in your life."Because in the story they sell one of their belongings to buy a presious gift.
Della only have $ 1.87, one day before Christmas. She is trying to do something to make more money and find a present for Jim. And then she thinks selling her hair should make more money, she's right. When she cuts her hair, she sell it for $ 20, and buy a fob chain for Jim's watch.
Jim have the same kind of thinking too. Selling his watch could give a beautiful present for Della. Then Jim found a good present for Della. He sell his watch and bought a comb for Della.

Crystal Flores Theme Final Exam

I believe the theme was that giving is worth much more than receiving a gift. I think its better to give. It shows that you care. Exceptionally when your in love. It means a lot to a person that cares about you as do you to them to give something you value away just to please that person. Its just like Carma when you do something good for someone or something good will come back in return. Its good to sacrifice things for another. Life is filled with ups and downs, smiles and frowns, happiness and sorrow. I think this is the theme because Della sole her hair her most prized position to get a gift for Jim her lover.
